These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Covalent Peptides website at covalentpeptides.com and your purchase of products from Covalent Peptides (“Covalent Peptides,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Research-use-only condition of sale
All products supplied by Covalent Peptides are sold strictly For Research Use Only — Not For Human Consumption. Products are intended exclusively for in-vitro, animal-model, and other non-human laboratory and academic research applications.
By placing an order, you affirm that:
- You are purchasing for legitimate laboratory, academic, or qualified independent research purposes
- You will not administer, ingest, inject, or otherwise consume any product
- You will not supply any product to any person for human consumption
- You will handle, store, and dispose of compounds in accordance with applicable safety standards
2. Age requirement
You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase products from Covalent Peptides. By placing an order you affirm that you meet this age requirement.
3. No resale or redistribution
Products purchased from Covalent Peptides may not be resold, repackaged, relabeled, or redistributed for retail or wholesale by any means. Bulk purchasing for legitimate institutional research is permitted; purchasing for redistribution is not.
4. Export restrictions
We ship exclusively within the continental United States and do not export products. You agree not to export, re-export, or transfer products to any country, entity, or individual identified on U.S. government restricted-party lists, or to any destination prohibited by U.S. export control laws.
5. Product information and accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, Certificates of Analysis, and pricing on this site are accurate. Errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, refuse or cancel orders, and update pricing or product availability at any time without notice.
6. Orders, pricing, and payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on shipping address. Payment is processed through a third-party payment processor. By submitting payment information, you authorize the third-party processor to charge your payment method for the order total including tax and shipping.
Covalent Peptides does not store full payment card information on its servers. Tokenized transaction records are retained for accounting, fraud prevention, and lawful business purposes.
7. Shipping, returns, and refunds
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Return Policy. Both policies are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Covalent Peptides will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of this site or any product purchased. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.
Covalent Peptides expressly disclaims all liability for any consequence arising from the use of products for human consumption or any application outside of laboratory and academic research, regardless of who performs the misuse.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Covalent Peptides, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of any product purchased from us.
10. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable U.S. jurisdiction of the company’s formation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under or related to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of competent jurisdiction within that U.S. jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be announced via this page at least 30 days before they take effect.
